Today is the first official day of National Library Week! We loved seeing everyone’s bookish photos last year, so our photo challenge is back and today is Shelfie Sunday. Share your shelfies on our Facebook or by tagging @meinderscommunitylibrary on Instagram for a chance to win Chamber Checks courtesy of the Pipestone Area Friends of the Library.
This afternoon at the library, patrons who signed up for our DIY Garden Book Nook workshop will be creating miniature scenes to adorn their bookshelves. We’ll share photos of these creations later in the day.
You could win a Book Nook (pre-assembled or a kit to create one) when you visit the library or attend a program this week! PAFL has made a variety of prize packs for all ages and interests and you can enter your name for the item you’d most like to win. We will also do a grand prize drawing for Chamber Checks.
