With the impending storms, it’s a good time to remind you of whether the weather will close us down or not–and how we will let you know when it does.
- If Pipestone Area Schools close early due to inclement weather, the Library will close 1/2 hour after school lets out. No afternoon or evening activities.
- The Library will open at 10:00am on the days that school is 2 hours late. No morning activities.
- If PAS cancels school for the day, Meinders Library may still be open or have shortened hours depending on road/weather conditions.
Closures can be noted on our blog, Facebook page, or any other social media you may follow us at. If in doubt, call the library before heading out.
Often, inclement weather can delay delivery. This week, delivery is scheduled for Tuesday and Saturday. At the moment, both of these days look a little iffy. Again, we will post changes or delays on our blog, Facebook, and other social media. Providing us with your email is the best way to find out when your hold has been processed and is ready for pick up. This can eliminate unnecessary trips to the library.
