Meinders Community Library is offering a Cricut Crafting Series that includes a night of instruction followed by a four-hour, hands-on workshop where crafters can make up to three unique gift items FREE of charge!

Presenter Judy Rannow has taught Community Education classes for well-over a decade. For nearly thirty years, she has facilitated crafting and hobby weekends for groups and small businesses. Her newest addition to workshops includes the Cricut line, specifically, infusible inks and the mug press. Judy is currently knee-deep in plans to open a craft-only business that will focus on workshops and one-of-a-kind gifts. This is Judy’s second workshop at the library, as she taught paper crafting at our first Full STEAM Ahead.
Join us at 6:00pm Monday, October 25, to learn how to create your own design using the Cricut DesignStudio. Judy will showcase the mug press, heat press, and infusible ink sheets and pens for sublimation. She will also touch on other applications of the Cricut cutting machine such as vinyls, iron-ons, or papercrafts. By the time you leave, you will have the knowledge and confidence to make your own gifts just in time for the holidays.
In fact, you can put your new-found knowledge to work almost immediately. On Saturday, October 30, Judy will host a four-hour, come and go workshop. Attendees will have the opportunity to make up to three products using the Cricut machine, a variety of tools, and consumable supplies. Participants may purchase additional supplies for crafting if desired. All ages and craftability levels are welcome.
Participants can attend one or both sessions. Just know that space and supplies are limited, so registration is required. Call Meinders Library or fill out the form below to reserve your spot at the table!
Thanks to our State Farm Full Steam Ahead and our Pipestone Area Community Foundation grants, Meinders Community Library has a smattering of Cricut tools for patrons to check out or use in our STEAM Room.
