I take forever to make up my mind about most things. Give me a menu, and my dining partners can starve long before I choose between the mushroom and swiss burger and the walleye. Which movie should we watch? I don’t know. They all look good.
Books, I have them all. Scads of them in my car, on my kindle, on my phone, on the night stand, and in the ottoman. There is no space too small to hold a To Be Read pile, as one never knows which book will speak to me at any given time.
This propensity toward wishy-washiness drives my hubby crazy. As the director of the library, it can also be a challenge when trying to decide our programming schedule.
Musician? Author? Artist?
Mystery? Humor? Non-fiction?
The choices are as endless as the diversity in our community. Trying to cover all the bases and provide a little something for everyone can be a challenge. That said, it’s also one of the most rewarding things we do.
We would love to hear what types of events, clubs, or programs you would like to see at the library. Please let us know what interests you, and we will check out our options. The hard part will be choosing between so many great suggestions.
Now, should I listen to Code Name Verity just for fun or read through my stack of Camp Read books for work? I’ll let you know when I’ve decided on dinner.
happy reading~ jody
