Technology used in the Library will be assessed on a yearly basis with the purpose of determining its longevity and usefulness to staff and patrons. At the May meeting, the Library Board will discuss new technology that may be of interest for use in the Library, either by Library Staff or patrons. Determination will be made at this time which items should be purchased or budgeted for purchase in the future.
Further, circulation policies on such items will be discussed, so as to ensure the broadest, most equitable use possible while responsibly maintaining the collection.
