Library Staff will use the City Disaster Plan. The plan will be reviewed with new staff upon hire, as well as periodically throughout the year via trainings and staff meetings to ensure best practices in the event of an emergency or disaster.
A copy of the Disaster Plan will be kept on file at the Library for ease of reference.
Further, the Director may work with the Library Board and the City as necessary to create more nuanced plans that will continue to provide the best service possible to the community at large.
