Due to the impending snowy weather, Mary Casanova’s author visit to Meinders Community Library has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Saturday, March 23rd at 10am! Casanova writes books for readers of all ages and interests and this program is free and open to everyone.
Meinders Community Library will be closed this Wednesday, February 28th, Thursday, February 29th, and open late at 1:00pm on Friday, March 1st as we move on to the next phase of our remodel. We will be open on Friday, March 1st from 1:00-5:00pm and on Saturday, March 2nd from 10:00am-2:00pm for holds pickup with limited browsing.
This Friday, March 1st is National Pig Day and we will have a special pig visitor at the library at 2pm. Get a sneak peek of our new children’s section and hold a baby pig!
Next week, Meinders Community Library will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of the President’s Day holiday. We will also be closed on Tuesday, February 20th due to the remodel of our new space. Because of the Monday holiday, our Plum Creek delivery will occur on Wednesday.

Construction continues at Meinders Community Library! There will be no water access for the drinking fountain or restrooms today, Thursday 1/18 and tomorrow, Friday 1/19.

Exciting things are happening at Meinders Community Library! The construction in the former garage space is mostly complete and work is moving to the main portion of the library. During this time we still have as many services and materials available for our patrons as possible. You can still enter the library through the East vestibule, use the computer and printer, pick up holds, and browse materials. As construction continues, some portions of our collection will be unavailable, but we can place holds on any materials you need. There will be no Crafternoon today, Wednesday, 12/27 because of the current phase of construction. Stay tuned for more updates!
