The Library Director and Board will continuously work together to evaluate the needs of all Library patrons in terms of accessibility whether to its physical spaces, collections, or services.
Any gaps in accessibility that are identified will be addressed in the following ways as appropriate:
- Small or ongoing projects will be the responsibility of the Public Library within the scope of their budget.
- Projects that fall within the mission of the Pipestone Area Friends of the Library will be brought forward to PAFL for fiscal support or potential fundraising.
- Projects with a narrow focus will utilize grants as possible.
- Large projects that are necessary for patron accessibility will be brought to the City Council for their input on budgeting.
